GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday visited historic Batadrava Than in Nagaon district to review its ongoing beautification project. The project inaugurated by union home minister Amit Shah will be completed soon, said Sarma.
The chief minister said the government has taken initiatives to expedite the project.
“This project will expedite and we will be able to complete it at the designated time,” said Dr Sarma.

The project of Rs 188 crore covers land of 165 bighas. Along with the chief minister, health minister Keshab Mahanta, Batadrava MLA Sibamoni Bora and former MLA Angoorlata Deka als visited the than.
