44 Assam students on way from Chittorgrah, Rajasthan

GUWAHATI: After the recent arrival of 391 students from Kota in Rajasthan, another batch of Assam students is on their way to Assam from Chittogarh in Rajsthan. The 44 students are returning to the state in two buses with all the requisite permission from the state government.

Taking to Twitter Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “For notice of all concerned – 44 students from Assam studying in Mewar University, Chittorgrah (Rajasthan) are returning to Assam in two buses. They have all the requisite permissions & passed from the state government. They may please be allowed unhindered travel.”

On the other hand, among the 391 students who were under quarantine at Sarusajai stadium in Guwahati, 124 students were released from the quarantine today in the presence of minister Dr. Himanta Biswa sarma.
