Guwahati: India’s total tally of COVID-19 cases surged to 3,12,57,720 with 41,383 new infections being reported in a day, while the recoveries have crossed 3.04 crore, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday.
The death count increased to 4,18,987 with 507 new fatalities, the data updated at 8 am showed.
With 38,652 people discharged in the last 24 hours, the number of recoveries now stands at 3,04,29,339 across the country. The overall recovery rate for Covid in India has now stood at 97.35 per cent.
