Guwahati: COVID19 cases are on rise in Assam in the second week of May. The highest number of cases has been recorded in Kamrup (Metro) that has 13000 active cases till Monday evening.
In second place is Kamrup (Rural) with 3985 active COVID19 cases closely followed by Dibrugarh with 3664 active cases closely
The remaining 7 districts of Assam with highest active COVID19 cases are as follows

- Cachar – 2280
- Sonitpur – 1795
- Tinsukia – 1738
- Darrang – 1616
- Nalbari – 1596
- Morigaon – 1577
