Guwahati: Assam singing sensation Zubeen Garg who was admitted to Nemcare Hospital after collapsing during an event at Guwahati Town Club, is in a stable condition now.
His wife Garima Saikia Garg today confirmed that though Zubeen is still undergoing treatment and admitted in ICU but is better now.
Speaking to media, Garima said, “Zubeen is better now and stable. The medical reports are also normal. The doctors are constantly examining Zubeen’s health conditions and whatever necessary treatment is needed they are doing it. But he needs proper rest. That is more important than anything else.”
She also added, “After Zubeen regained sense he is constantly telling me that he wants to go back to work and perform in shows.”
Garima even thanked everyone across the state who is praying for Zubeen’s wellbeing and good health.
On Saturday, CM Sarbananda Sonowal and Finance Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma also visited the hospital and enquired about Zubeen’s health condition and talked to the doctors. Many prominent faces and hundreds of fans also visited the hospital.
