GUWAHATI, Nov 18: Hearthrob singer, music composer and film-maker Zubeen Garg turned 48 today. He celebrated a quite midnight birthday, reportedly at Biswanath, where he was seen cutting a cake with some of his fans.
Meanwhile, his fans showered him with birthday wishes with many taking to various popular social networking sites to wish their loved “Zubeen Da” a very happy birthday.
Others arrived at his residence in Kharghuli to extend him their birthday wishes.
“I have come from Sarupeta. I arrived yesterday evening,” a young college student told News Live at his Kharghuli residence, and added: “I wish Zubeen Da a very happy birthday. He is our superstar”.

His fans also organized various programmes that included wall painting competition among children at Kharghuli.
Zubeen Garg was born to Mohini Borthakur, better known as Kapil Thakur, and Ily Borthakur on Nov 18, 1971, in Tura. His parents had named him after famous music composer Zubin Mehta.
