Assam heartthrob Zubeen Garg is gradually recovering well and is likely to get discharge tomorrow, informed by Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta.
The Mon Jai singer was hospitalised after he collapsed in his studio, Guwahati on Wednesday morning and was immediately rushed at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Nemcare Hospital.
Speaking to the media Health Minister Keshab Mahanta said, ” I met Zubeen in presence of Dr. Hitesh Baruah and did have a conversation with him. According to Baruah Zubeen fell ill due to work pressure. The artist needs some rest. And he is definitely recovering well. He may be allowed to go home tomorrow. The hospital authorities will arrange if a specialist doctor is required.”
The 50 year old singer-lyricist-music composer-actor-producer and director of popular Assamese films like Mission China and Kanchanjangha has suffered seizures a few times earlier and was hospitalised.
