Yuvraj Singh’s foundation donates 50 ICU beds to AMCH, Dibrugarh

Guwahati: In a humanitarian move, star cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s foundation has donated 50 ICU beds, the first installment to set up 100-bed- pediatric ICU facility at the Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh for providing adequate treatment to children. 

The Yuvraj Singh Foundation is a non-profit organisation established by leading Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh that works extensively in the healthcare sector.

Principal-cum-chief superintendent of AMCH Dr. Sanjeeb Kakati on Sunday said, “We thank the Yuvraj Singh Foundation which deals with children suffering from cancer, for this noble gesture. During the Covid-19 pandemic, it has taken an initiative to has donated 100 ICU beds to the AMCH, Dibrugarh for providing adequate treatment to children COVID-19 patients. We have signed an MoU with them for setting up a 100-bed pediatric ICU unit at AMCH. On Saturday, they handed over 50 ICU beds.”
