Ahead of the Phase 3 Lok Sabha Elections, Guwahati Police recovered a pistol, a magazine and 21 live bullets from a youth on Friday.
The following items has been recovered from John alias Rajesh Rai hailing from Nagaland who has been residing in a rented house in Yuva Nagar in Noonmati area of Guwahati.
Meanwhile, the accused has been arrested and is currently under police custody.
Investigation in connection with the matter is underway.
