GUWAHATI, Oct 30: The 20-year-old youth who was arrested by Mumbai Police from Noida yesterday for allegedly sending threat messages to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Maharashtra MLA Zeeshan Siddique, son of slain NCP Ajit Pawar faction leader Baba Siddique, is a carpenter by profession and reportedly earny Rs 400-500 a day, the Times of India reported.
Mohammed Tayyab Ali, hailing from Bhojipura in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district, stays with his uncle at Noida Sector 39 and works as a carpenter.
The arrested youth mother said her son “acted out of foolishness and had no malicious intent” while his sisters said their brother “must have sent the messages just for fun”, the report added.
Tayyab, the report stated, told police he “sent the threat message as a joke”.
No criminal history of the arrested youth has been found although he is said to be alcoholic.
