GUWAHATI: Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Atul Bora and Pramod Boro, presidents of the Assam state BJP, AGP and UPPL respectively urged their party workers to work unitedly so that NDA government comes to power in the state again.

Addressing a joint press conference in Guwahati, BJP state president Ranjeet Dass said the people of Assam want this government to be elected again.

“I request the BJP workers to help the AGP and UPPL candidates. I appeal them to work selflessly through the ‘Micro Management System’ of our party.”

Dass also claimed that the state has made manifold development under the BJP-led government in last 5 years.

“We have come united in the greater interests of the state. We have to defeat the Congress-AIUDF’s grand alliance,” said Atul Bora.

The AGP president urged the party workers to give up their resentment over the seat-sharing and cooperate with the allies.

“Our mission is not to give tickets to individuals. Our mission for Assam and BTR is bigger than that,” said UPPL president Pramod Boro.

“Over these 5 years, the BJP-led government has been working with commitments for the various sectors including education and agriculture. So, UPPL has also joined hands with BJP and AGP,” he added.
