Woman marries nephew-in-law with family’s consent in Bihar ~ In a shocking incident that has been reported from Jamui district of Bihar, a woman named Ayushi Kumari, mother of a three-year-old daughter, ditched her husband to enter into second marriage with her nephew-in-law.
The wedding raised even greater eyebrows as the wedding took place in front of her husband and other family members.
35-year-old Ayushi married 21-year-old Sachin Dubey, the nephew of her first husband Vishal Dubey, on Friday (June 20) at a local temple in Sikheria village of Jamui district in Bihar.
A video of the marriage also went viral on social media. Sachin could be seen in the video applying red sindoor on Ayushi’s forehead as part of the wedding rituals.
The relationship between the duo, reports stated, first started after they connected on social media. They then began interacting frequently and love blossomed between the two.
Conversations turned into frequent meet-ups and endless phone calls.
As the relationship became public raising suspicion among family members, the duo eloped on June 15. Ayushi also filed for divorce from her first husband Vishal in a court in Jamui.
Amid the developments, the two families agreed to solemnise Ayushi’s marriage with Sachin, and the wedding was held on Friday at a local temple.
Ayushi had earlier married Vishal in 2021 and they have a three-year-old daughter together.
