GUWAHATI, Feb 18: Several key members of Rajasthan Royals who are not on national duty ahead of the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy, have begun training for IPL 2025 at the ACA Stadium in Barsapara, Guwahati.
The Jaipur-based outfit who have made Guwahati their second home venue will play two of their home matches — against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 26 and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 30 — at the ACA Stadium.
The training session of Rajasthan Royals players will take place for four days starting today (Feb 18) till Feb 21.
While local lad and crowd favourite Riyan Parag arrived in Guwahati yesterday, fellow team members Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Rana were also in the Assam capital by Monday evening.
Rajasthan Royals head coach and former India great Rahul Dravid is also in Guwahati for the four-day training period.
Team members on international duty will join the team for the 2025 season of IPL after the conclusion of the Champions Trophy.
