GUWAHATI, Jan 21: News Live, the most-viewed and highest TRP grossing 24×7 satellite news and infotainment channel of the region, has completed 17 glorious years of its existence today.
Th flagship channel of Pride East Entertainments Pvt. Ltd., News Live was officially launched on January 21, 2008 and since then, it has gone on to become the voice of the people, raising issues faced by the people and becoming their voice.
Meanwhile, several eminent personalities from various walks of live have extended their greetings and best wishes to News Live on the occasion of the channel’s 17th anniversary.
CMD of Pride East Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. Riniki Bhuyan Sharma and Chief Managing Editor of News Live Syed Zarir Hussain along with the entire team of News Live celebrated the moment by cutting the anniversary cake at News Live News Desk.
As part of the 17th anniversary celebrations, a 2-day conclave will also be organized on Feb 8 and 9 which will be graced by spiritual guru and founder of Isha Foundation Sadhguru who will also take part in an open-to-all Satsang at the Vandya International School in Amingaon from 3 pm on Feb 9.
Veteran singer and music composer Dwipen Barua and eminent writer and journalist Anuradha Sharma Pujaree will also be conferred with News Live’s Lifetime Achievement award and the Assamese of the Year award for 2024 during the two-day conclave.
