GUWAHATI, Dec 3: Olympic medalist and champion shuttler PV Sindhu will tie the nuptial knot with Venkata Datta Sai, an IT professional, in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur on Dec 22. Datta Sai is presently working as an executive director at Posidex Technologies.
While the wedding festivities will begin on Dec 20 which will be followed by the marriage on Dec 22 while the newly-weds will throw a grand reception in Hyderabad on Dec 24, reports said.
Sindhu’s father PV Ramana shared the big news about her daughter’s marriage and said that the two families knew each other and that the marriage was finalised last month.
The marriage dates were finalised keeping an eye on the shuttler’s hectic training and tournament schedule which begins early January, reports added.
Datta Sai is the son of IRS officer GT Venkateshwar Rao who is the MD of Posidex Technologies. Reports said that he completed his Diploma in Liberal Studies from the Foundation of Liberal and Management Education, and BBA Accounting and Finance followed by a master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from IIIT, Bangalore.
Reports said he began his career at JSW where, besides other responsibilities, he also managed JSW’s owned Delhi Capitals in the IPL.
