We will reopen Madrasas, Badruddin Ajmal reiterates

GUWAHATI: All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Maulana Badruddin Ajmal reiterated again that all the Madrasas would be reopened  if Congress and AIUDF come to power in Assam in 2021. Addressing a party meeting at Mankachar on Tuesday, the Dhubri MP said that though Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has shut down the Madrasas,  the Congress-AIUDF alliance would reopen the Madrasas if they voted to power.

“Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma closed the Madrasa education. We will reopen it if we come to power. Himanta Biswa Sarma and Sarbananda Sonowal have lost sleep after knowing about Congres-AIUDF alliance,” Ajmal said.

Earlier in another meeting at Hatsingimari, Ajmal made the same promise that they would reopen the Madrasas closed down by the Assam government.
