GUWAHATI: “We have formally become the part of COVID-19 pandemic. We have entered the real phase of pandemic,” said Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at a press meet in Guwahati on Sunday.
Dr. Sarma stated that COVID-19 situation in Assam has been turning critical with the increasing number of cases.
“Among the total tests on Saturday in Guwahati, 30 per cent cases were found positive for COVID-19,” said Dr. Sarma.
He requested everyone not to spread misinformation about COVID-19.
