Reacting to the same, BJP MP and actress Hema Malini said that such words should not be used inside the Parliament and advised that they should control their tongue.”They should control their tongue and not get over-excited and emotional. Each and every member of Parliament is a respectable person,” Hema Malini said.”Nothing will be going on record. Some very harsh and offensive words have been used. I would ask the Parliamentary Affairs Minister to talk to the party (TMC),” Bhartruhari Mahtab, standing in for Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, said.
Mahua Moitra went on an aggressive rant against BJP over Hindenburg report on Gautam Adani’s companies. She asked the Central government to order full and thorough investigation into all matters. Our country’s reputation and the systemic stability of our markets are at risk, she said. Don’t worry about infrastructure assets, we are world class Indian companies who can easily take over their businesses and can be kept in check by our regulators, Moitra added.
