GUWAHATI: Durlabh Gogoi, a fire fighter in Oil India Limited (OIL) died while battling the massive blaze at Baghjan oil well in Assam’s Tinsukia district. Another employee named Tikheswar Gohain also died in the inferno.
Durlabh Gogoi was a State footballer who represented the State team several times. He was also the goalkeeper of Oil India football team. Gogoi was not only a sportsman, but he had also penchant for music and dance.
In a video he could be seen dancing to the Bihu songs while he was on duty as a fire fighter of Oil India Limited. Watch the video here:
