GUWAHATI, March 1: Singer Marmita Mitra, who has become the latest poster girl of the Assamese music industry, says she is very excited to be performing in the upcoming Rongali Bihu shows this year.
The singer from West Bengal, now Assam’s daughter-in-law, has signed with a host of Bihu organizers, committing herself to performing in the Bihu stage shows.
“It’s for the first time that I will be performing in Bihu. It’s a special feeling. I seek your love and blessings,” she told reporters.
