USA: One dead, at least 5 hurt after two planes collided at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona

GUWAHATI, Feb 11: One person was killed while at least five suffered injuries after two private jets collided at the Scottsdale Airport in Arizona on Monday afternoon, reports quoting authorities stated.

The collision took place when a private jet veered off the runway and collided with another parked jet.

Four people were onboard in the arriving jet coming from Austin and Texas, reports stated while one person was reported to have been present inside the parked plane at the time of the collision.

BNO News said the plane was owned by a singer named Vince Neil.

On January 29, an American Airlines passenger jet collided with a military helicopter while landing at Ronald Reagan National Airport near Washington, DC.

All 67 people on board the passenger jet were killed while the four crew members of the military chopper also died in the mishap.
