GUWAHATI: According to the guidelines for Lockdown 1.0 issued by the Assam Government on Monday, schools, colleges, universities, coaching centres and other similar places of gathering in the State will remain closed until further orders.
The guidelines advised persons above 65 years of age, persons with co-morbidities, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years to stay at home, except for essential and health purposes.
On the other hand, social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural and religious functions, and other large congregations will not be allowed.
It further continues the night curfew from 9 PM to 5 AM throughout the State, except for essential activities.
