GUWAHATI: United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) chief Urkhao Gwra Brahma has appealed former All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) leader Pramod Bodo to join the UPPL.
UG Brahma also requested other ABSU and National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) leaders to join the party at its two-day convention at Bijni,Chirang which began from today.
Speaking to media persons, former Rajya Sabha MP and UPPL leader Brahma said, “We are expecting and requesting Pramod Bodo along with other ABSU and NDFB leaders to join the UPPL on February 21-22. They will take the final decision. But I hope there will be a massive change in the UPPL on February 21 and 22 and it will become stronger.”
