GUWAHATI: Assam Police in Dhubri district bordering Bangladesh apprehended two cattle smugglers with 29 cattle heads and one vehicle (AS-01—HC-8636) on Thursday. Two separate cases were registered against the smugglers at Gauripur and Golakganj police stations.
Meanwhile, the police has requested the public to provide information related to cattle smuggling directly to the superintendent of police (SP) of Dhubri.
“Requesting any info reg. Cattle Smuggling directly to SP on 6026000357,” Dhubri police mentioned in a tweet.
