Guwahati: On Sunday, two more locations in Guwahati were declared as Containment Zones. Kamrup (Metro) district administration has declared Borbari and Japorigog as containment zones following the detection of COVID-19 patients at these areas.

Kamrup district administration have been directed to seal the area as a preventive measure against the spread of COVID-19

According to the notification, any movement of any unauthorised individual and vehicle within the area is prohibited with immediate effect.

The boundary of the Containment Zone as follows:

Borbari

North: Bishnu Nagar Path

South: Residence of Benu Sinha

East: Residence of Sitangu Sinha

West: Residence of Lakhyanath Patir

Japorigog

North: Residence Nurul Islam

South: Ajanpir Path

East: Residence of Md. Sadullah 

West: Residence of Bitupan Boro
