GUWAHATI: Two more troopers of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) from Assam—Kumud Kalita of Kamrup and Ranbir Limbu of Udalguri have tested positive for COVID-19 in Delhi. Both of them belong to CRPF’s 31st Battalion. Ikramul Hussain, a sub-inspector of the same battalion who hailed from Barpeta district died on Tuesday because of COVID-19.
The family members of the CRPF jawans alleged that they are not receiving adequate treatment in Delhi. The families of both the jawans appealed the Assam Government for the assistance to bring them back for the treatment in Assam.
