GUWAHATI: The medical team of Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh conducted two caesarian sections on covid-19 positive women in the last two days, informed health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Taking to Twitter Dr. Sarma appreciated the medical team of the AMCH.
“Wearing PPE, Our medical team of @AMCHDibrugarh conducted two safe caesarian sections on COVID positive patients in the last two days. Well done team AMCH,” Sarma tweeted.
Earlier too, caesarian sections on COVID-19 positive pregnant women were successfully carried out in other medical colleges and hospitals of the state.
