GUWAHATI: A youth was crushed to death by a speeding truck in Jagiroad under Morigaon district on Tuesday night. The youth identified as Paban Kumar Sahu from Bihar died on the spot when he was hit by the truck in-front of Jagiroad police station.
Though police seized the truck bearing registration number AS01-GC-8533, the driver and his assistant managed to flee from the scene. Meanwhile, police recovered the body and sent for post-mortem.
