GUWAHATI, Dec 27: A youth, accused of stabbing three of his friends following a small altercation in Udaipur Central Road in Tripura, has been arrested by police.
Samrat Dey had reportedly stabbed three friends — Rahul Das, Ujwal Saha and Sekhar Das — after a small altercation in Udaipur Central Road.
Rahul Das, who sustained serious injuries to his eyes and body, was referred to the GB Trauma Centre from Gomati District Hospital where he was first admitted.
The other two injured friends, Ujjwal Saha and Sekhar Das, are receiving primary treatment at Gomati District Hospital.
A case was registered at RK Pur police station after Rahul Das’s family filed a complaint against Samrat.
Samrat was arrested from his residence on Thursday.
