GUWAHATI, Oct 18: After normal movement of trains was affected at the Lumding-Badarpur Hill section under Lumding division following the the derailment of the Agartala–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express yesterday (October 17), movement of trains was restored today after restoration work began on a war-footing yesterday evening.
At least 8 coaches of the Agartala-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express had derailed at Dibalong station in Dima Hasao district, Assam, on Thursday snapping movement of trains through the route.
No casualties or major injuries, however, were reported as a result of the derailment.
