GUWAHATI, Oct 30: Model, choreographer and infleuncer Sumi Borah, her husband Tapan alias Tarkik Borah and Bishal Phukan, all arrested in connecting with the online trading scam, were sent to 3-day CBI custody today (Oct 30).
The trio was produced at the Special CBI Court here in connection with case number 354/22 registered at Dibrugarh Police Station after they were brought to Guwahati on Sunday.
Court No 1 of the Special CBI Court where the trio was produced remanded them to the custody of the investigating agency for three days.
The CBI had taken them into custody after the Assam Government handed over 41 trading scam cases, including the alleged fraudulent activities in which Sumi Borah, husband Tarkik and Bishal Phukan are accused, to the investigating agency.
