GUWAHATI: With the discharge of 274 COVID-19 patients on Sunday, the total number of recovered patients in Assam has increased to 5088. The recovery rate of Assam is now 71 per cent.
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma mentioned in his tweet, “There are 2.5 times more people who’re back home than in hospitals now. With 5000+ recovered at a rate of 71% we’ve done very well.”
Assam has so far reported 7165 COVID-19 cases. Currently, there are 2063 active cases in the state.
