While Mahua Moitra was earlier married to Danish financier Lars Brorson whom she divorced, Pinaki Misra has a son and a daughter from his previous marriage
Two-time Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra has reportedly married former Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP Pinaki Misra (65) in a private ceremony in Berlin, Germany.
The marriage reportedly took place on May 30.
However, neither Mahua Moitra nor Pinaki Misra have officially confirmed the wedding.
A photograph of the two has surfaced on social media with the TMC MP seen in traditional attire and heavy jewellery.
“Congratulations Mm & Pm… @MahuaMoitra @OfPinaki wishing you a lifetime of love and laughter,” TMC MP Saayoni Ghosh posted on ‘X’, formerly Twitter.
Moitra, 50, a two-time Lok Sabha MP from Krishnanagar, was earlier married to Danish financier Lars Brorson whom she divorced.
Misra, also a senior advocate in the Supreme Court, was first elected to Lok Sabha from Puri in 1996 on a Congress ticket and then for three consecutive terms from 2009 from the BJD.
He has a son and a daughter from his previous marriage to Sangita Mishra.
