GUWAHATI, Aug 25: Three persons went missing and are feared drowned while taking a bath at Parashuram Kund in Arunachal Pradesh’s Lohit district today.
They have been identified as Lilawati Devi (60), her son-in-law Manoj Shah (48) and daughter Sobha Shah (38).
While Manoj and Sobha hailed from Kakopather in Tinsukia district, Lilawati Devi had come to visit her daughter and son-in-law from Manipur.
The trio had come to take a holy dip at Parashuram Kunda when they were washed away by strong river current.
Search and rescue operations have been launched to either rescue them or locate their bodies.
