It’s ‘Teesri baar Modi Sarkar, ab ki baar 400 paar’ for the ruling BJP as the party sounds the poll bugle for the upcoming general elections in Assam today.
BJP national president JP Nadda, who arrived in Guwahati last night on a three-day visit to Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, offered his obeisance to Maa Kamakhya at the internationally-famed Shakti peeth today morning, and sought the blessings of the Goddess as the party accelerates its preparedness for the upcoming hustings.
Nadda will take part in a mega motorbike rally from the Koinadhara State guest house to the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra where he will attend the executive meeting of the State BJP from 2 pm.
The party’s national president will chair the core committee meeting at the BJP’s state office at 6.30 pm and review the party’s preparations for the Lok Sabha elections in the state.
He will leave for Arunachal Pradesh at 9 am tomorrow.
