After the abduction of a manager of a stone quarry at Jagun in Tinsukia district Monday night, gunmen kidnapped the manager of a tea garden near Borhat in Charaideo district of Assam Tuesday night. Numol Chandra Borah, manager of Timon Tea Estate, was abduced by a four-member armed group around 7:30 pm on Tuesday after identifying themselves as cadres of the outlawed ULFA (Independent).

The miscreants kidnapped the tea garden manager from his bunglow. Despite pleas made by his ailing wife, the armed miscreants forcibly took Borah away with them.
