GUWAHATI, Jan 10: Eminent Bollywood music composer Shankar Mahadevan has heaped praises on a promising Assam flautist saying that he was “deeply touched” by his performance with the flute.
The ‘Breathless’-famed singer and music composer posted a video with Guwahati-based flautist Dilip Heera on Facebook whom he had met at the Vivanta by Taj hotel in Guwahati earlier this morning.
“Talent undiscovered !! Everyone pls bless Dilip heera from Assam !! What an amazing player !!” Mahadevan wrote on Facebook with a video with the flautist.

Mahadevan is in Guwahati to perform in the opening ceremony of the 3rd Khelo India Youth Games.
The Bollywood music composer said he was deeply moved after hearing Dilip Heera play the flute. And after picking up a conversation with Heera, Mahadevan shot a video with him which he later posted on his Facebook page.
Meanwhile, speaking exclusively to News Live, Dilip Heera said it has been an overwhelming feeling for him after being showered with praised by such a celebrated Bollywood music composer.
“The feeling is yet to sink in. He’s such a big name in Bollywood,” Heera told News Live, adding that Shankar Mahadevan also asked him to send videos of his performances with the flute.
“He gave me his WhatsApp number and asked me to send him videos of my flute recitals,” he added.
