Guwahati: Actress Ankita Lokhande has participated in #PlantsForSSR, an initiative started by Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti. Ankita posted a few pictures along with her furry friend Hatchi on social media.
Ankita and her dog Hatchi can be seen planting plants at their residence in Mumbai. Along with the pictures, she wrote, “Hatchi and mamma My partner In almost everything Planting plants It’s our way to remember him by fulfilling his dream #plants4SSR @shwetasinghkirt @jainvick @vikirti @_mallika_singh”

Earlier, Sushant’s sister Shweta had tweeted about it and urged everyone to support the initiative since it was the late actor’s dream to plant 1000 trees. She had tweeted, “And let’s not forget our tomorrow’s campaign #Plant4SSR. Can’t wait to see you guys planting trees for our beloved Sushant. What a wonderful constructive way to remember our Star by fulfilling his dreams.”
Ankita has been supporting Sushant’s family since his untimely demise. Recently, Shweta’s husband Vishal Kirti came out in support of Ankita after Rhea Chakraborty’s Shibani Dandekar slammed her on social media. He took to social media and asked her to not take the jibes made against her seriously. He wrote, “Dear @anky1912. Please don’t take the jibes made by paid PR seriously. Your support means a lot to the family. This is an organized effort to attack people who want #Justice4SSR. As you have correctly pointed out, all we want is to know the truth. More power to you for your bravery.”
