GUWAHATI: The state budget which will be tabled tomorrow will cover every section of the society including 30 lakh families of Assam, announced finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Minister Sarma will present Assam Budget 2020-21 at Assam Legislative Assembly at 2 PM tomorrow. Speaking to media persons Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said today, “This budget will take welfare schemes of Assam to a new height. With 13 percent growth and Rs. 73 thousand crore public expenditure in the last year, we will present the budget to the people with renewed confidence.”
Minister Sarma also stated that the budget would lead to a new horizon of development in the state for the next 5-10 years.
