GUWAHATI: Festivity gripped Kokrajhar as prime minister Narendra Modi will address a gathering at Khargaon-Tengapara to hail the historic Bodo Agreement.
The Bodo Peace Accord was signed between the government and all the four factions of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB), All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) and United Bodo People’s Organization (UBPO) on January 27 in New Delhi.
Prime Minister Modi will arrive at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at 11.45 AM. He will reach Kokrajhar at 12.30 PM.
All the necessary preparations have been made to give the prime minister a grand welcome. The venue for Vijay Utsav has already turned into a sea of humanity as people from different parts of the state congregated from early morning.
