GUWAHATI, March 18: The Indian contingent which won 33 medals at the Special Olympics World Winter Games 2025 held in Turin, Italy, received an outstanding ovation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi over their impressive performance.
Prime Minister Modi lauded their outstanding performance at the Special Olympics World Winter Games saying he was “immensely proud” and congratulated them for their accomplishments.
The Indian contingent brought home 33 medals, making the nation proud on the global stage.

Prime Minister Modi met the athletes in Parliament today and congratulated them for their dedication and achievements.
“I am immensely proud of our athletes who have brought glory to the nation at the Special Olympics World Winter Games held in Turin, Italy! Our incredible contingent has brought home 33 medals.
