Guwahati: Actor Sonu Sood has emerged as the Messiah for the poor and needy in the lockdown that continues due to the COVID-19 pandemic across the nation.
Not only in the country but all over the world, people are calling Sonu Sood the Messiah.
Sonu Sood has helped more than one lakh people so far. Everyday people on Twitter ask Sonu for help.
Sonu Sood himself once said that every day more than a thousand people tweet on Twitter for his help.
Talking about Sood’s personal life, he is a very dedicated husband and a doting father.
Sood and his wife, Sonali, have been married for 24 long years and his love story is no less than a romantic film story.
He met his now-wife back when he was studying at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering in Nagpur. While he was an engineering student, she was pursuing MBA. They became great friends while studying together and fell truly, madly, and deeply in love.
It is to be mentioned that Sonali was his first-ever girlfriend.
While Sonu Sood belongs to a core Punjabi family, his wife Sonali belongs to a typical Telegu family.
In his latest interview, the actor-philanthropist has revealed that Sonali is a Teluguite. “My wife is a Teluguite. Although she was born in Mumbai, her parents hail from Hyderabad. She has a strong Godavari connection as well. I am proud that I have a Telugu connection in personal life apart from my professional life,” Sonu Sood said.
After dating for a couple of years, they tied the knot on September 25, 1996. He was 21 years old at that time.
He then kick-started his silver screen journey in 1999 with the movie Kallazhagar. That’s right. He had already established a stable married life, before entering the acting world.
Sonu considers Sonali behind his success. He says that his wife’s support in each of his journeys gives him to work harder and do something meaningful.
