GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Tuesday attended the annual day function of Chinmaya Mission, Guwahati. In his speech Sonowal observed that for the welfare of the society people will have to work with dedication.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Sonowal said that for a qualitative life, one needs to spend his or her time in spiritual pursuits. Lauding the role of Chinmaya Mission, Sonowal said that it (Chinmaya Mission) is not only working in India, it has spread its wings all over the world and is helping people to get over their undesirable habits through spiritual moorings.

He said that the creator has bestowed mankind with lot of potentials. It is the duty of human-beings to discover the immense potentials by empowering themselves spiritually. Emphasizing that people should go forward by inculcating human virtues in them, CM Sarbananda Sonowal said Assam has drafted its forward march by strengthening the tenets of harmony and brotherhood.
The chief minister assured that State government would consider it positively to allot land to Chinmaya Mission, Guwahati for setting up its educational institution.
