Amid angry reactions over the tragic demise of artiste and businessman Rajani Khargharia and his wife Ruby following ill-treatment by their son, Debashis’ sister has now appealed to her brother to surrender.
“I think he is evading the law and police on the advice of someone else. He is my brother, I know him well. I appeal to him to surrender,” Debashis’ sister told News Live.
When asked about the inability of Sivasagar Police in arresting her brother, she said they have full faith on the police.

Rajani Khargharia had committed suicide after his wife Ruby died due to lack of medicines and adequate treatment. In a five-page letter written by Rajani Khargharia and addressed to his son, the eminent artiste wrote in vivid details how Debashis and his wife (Rajani Khargharia’s daughter-in-law) ill-treated them.
Police, meanwhile, are also facing flak for repeatedly raiding the parental residence of Debashis’ wife Geetashree Dowerah Khargharia but failing to trace their whereabouts.
