Guwahati:What may be termed as a matter of pride for the state, another Assam boy has marked his imprint in Bollywood with his diligence and talent. The Assam boy who was working as a security guard in Mumbai is now a busy Bollywood actor.
Born to Khagen Dihingya and Tulika Dihinga in a small village Demow in Sivasagar, Assam actor Jun Dihingya popularly known as Raj is all set to prove his niche in Bollwood. He has casted in Rohit Shetty’s mega movie Sooryavanshi featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
In 2002 Jun aka Raj went to Mumbai in search of employment. For a few years he was working as a security guard but was amazed to see the glamour of Mayanagri. Inspired by the fitness and glamorous lifestyle of the Bollywood stars, he too started working out and became a fitness freak. It won’t be wrong to tell that every year many people from such small town with big aspirations land in Mumbai to earn fame in Bollywood.
In 2012 Raj made his debut in Hrithik Roshan starrer blockbuster movie Mohenjodaro. After that he has also worked with eminent actors such as Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Amir Khan, Katrina Kaif etc. He was also a part of the television industry and worked for a few daily soaps.
