GUWAHATI, Nov 17: Eight people were killed and 17 others injured in a knife attack at a vocational school in eastern China, reports said.
The incident is the second incident of mass killing to have been reported from China in a week’s time.
The accused, a 21-year-old former student, went on a stabbing rampage at the Wuxi Vocational College of Arts and Technology in Yixing in the eastern province of Jiangsu.
The accused was later arrested and has confessed to his crime, police said.
A 62-year-old man had last Monday rammed his car into a crowd outside a sports stadium killing 35 people and injuring 43.
