Sanjana Ganesan slams trolls for targeting baby Angad Bumrah: The Wankhede Stadium was full of cheers on Sunday as Jasprit Bumrah delivered a brilliant performance, taking four wickets for Mumbai Indians against Lucknow Super Giants. But while Bumrah made headlines for his bowling, his wife Sanjana Ganesan had to deal with an unexpected situation off the field.

Why Sanjana Ganesan is Upset

Sanjana and their one-and-a-half-year-old son Angad were seen cheering for Bumrah from the stands. A small moment where Angad was captured on camera quickly went viral online. Unfortunately, instead of celebrating the beautiful family moment, many people on social media started judging and mocking the child based on just a few seconds of footage.

Hurt and angry, Sanjana took to Instagram to shut down the trolls. In a powerful message, she wrote, “Our son is NOT a topic for your entertainment.”

Sanjana Ganesan slams trolls: Her Strong Message through Instagram Story

In her Instagram story, Sanjana explained how she and Bumrah have always tried to protect Angad from the negativity of social media. She mentioned that they knew taking him to a stadium full of cameras had its risks, but their only intention was to support Jasprit, not to make Angad public property.

She called out people who casually threw around serious words like “trauma” and “depression” for a toddler. “He is only one and a half years old. Using such heavy words for a baby shows how sad our society is becoming,” she said.

Sanjana also added, “You know nothing about our son, nothing about our lives, and I request you to keep your opinions online true to that. A little honesty and kindness go a long way.”

The Bumrah Family’s Special Day

Despite the trolling episode, it was a proud day for Jasprit Bumrah. The 31-year-old fast bowler became the highest wicket-taker for Mumbai Indians in IPL history. His outstanding spell helped Mumbai Indians secure their fifth straight win with a huge 54-run victory over LSG.

Jasprit and Sanjana, who got married in 2021, celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary recently in March. They welcomed baby Angad in September 2023. Known for their humility and strong bond, they are one of the most loved couples among Indian cricket fans.

Fans Show Support

After Sanjana’s message, many fans and public figures came out in support of the family, praising her for standing up against online bullying. Cricket lovers appreciated Sanjana’s honesty and agreed that children should be kept out of online judgment.

In today’s world where social media often crosses limits, Sanjana’s bold stand reminds everyone that even public figures deserve respect and privacy for their families. It’s important to remember that behind every viral picture is a real family with real emotions.
