Salman Khan Receives Fresh Death Threat: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received yet another serious death threat, sending shockwaves across the film industry and among his fans. The threat, this time, came through a WhatsApp message sent to Mumbai’s Transport Department in Worli on April 14, 2025.
According to police sources, the message warned that the sender would enter Salman Khan’s house, kill him, and even blow up his car with a bomb. Soon after, a case was registered at Worli Police Station, and an investigation is now underway to trace the unknown sender.
This is not the first time Salman has faced threats. In fact, over the past few years, he has been targeted multiple times—mostly by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The gang has reportedly held a grudge against Salman ever since his involvement in the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case, as the Bishnoi community considers blackbucks sacred.
One year ago, on April 14, 2024, two bike-borne assailants fired gunshots outside Salman’s Bandra residence. After the incident, security around him was increased significantly, and he was given Y+ security cover.
Due to repeated threats, Salman has had to make major changes in his life. His Bandra home, Galaxy Apartments, has been upgraded with bulletproof windows, high-tech surveillance systems, and bulletproof glass. Salman himself now moves only between his home and film sets and avoids any public activities without proper security.
In 2024, there were several other incidents too. The Bishnoi gang had demanded ₹5 crore from him and asked for a public apology in a temple. Later, an unknown person asked for ₹2 crore and sent a similar threat. Two men also tried to enter his Panvel farmhouse using fake IDs. In 2022 and 2023, Salman received threatening letters and emails, including one from gangster Goldy Brar.

Speaking at a recent press meet, Salman Khan responded calmly, saying, “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai.” He added that he doesn’t fear anything when surrounded by media but feels restricted when alone, saying that his life now only goes from Galaxy to shoot and shoot to Galaxy.
Fans across India are now worried about their favourite star’s safety. Mumbai Police have promised to take strict action and are leaving no stone unturned in tracing the origin of this threat.
This fresh threat has once again brought attention to the serious security challenges faced by celebrities in India.
