Riyan Parag’s superb batting, Bihu enthralls everyone as video goes viral


Guwahati: Rajasthan Royals (RR) star batsman Riyan Parag from Assam smashed a 26-ball 42 not out in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (Sunrisers Hyderabad, SRH) and teamed up with Rahul Tewatia.

Riyan led the team to victory with sixes in 19.5 overs and celebrated it by dancing Bihu on the field. The 18-year-old Assamese boy’s celebratory jig in the form of Bihu dance on the pitch after he hit Khaleel Ahmed for a six over covers on the penultimate ball, making the night memorable for his team.

The dance video of Ryan Parag has become the talk of the town. 

The reaction of Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner on the dance was very much discussed.

The video has been viral on social media and the netizens are amazed by the dance on the field.

Ecstatic with his effort in the Royals’ victory, Parag shared snapshots from the match including his Bihu dance pic, after the stunning win.


After registering four consecutive losses in the ongoing season of IPL, Rajasthan Royals produced a stunning run chase on Sunday against Sunrisers Hyderabad, beating them by 5 wickets and a delivery to spare at the Dubai International Stadium.  

The Sunrisers Hyderabad team dominated the match for a long time. The situation was such that Rajasthan Royals had lost five wickets for just 78 runs in 12 overs. Ben Stokes, Jose Butler, Captain Steve Smith, Sanju Samson, and Robin Uthappa have returned to the pavilion.

After this, Ryan and Rahul together shared an unbroken 85-run partnership.
