Guwahati: Pride East Entertainments Private Limited’s Chief Managing Director Riniki Bhuyan Sharma received a special award at “Prag Prerana Awards 2020” for her contribution towards the society and women empowerment.
“Prag Prerana Awards” is conferred to individual women, public, private institutions and public departments for their activism and contributions to the cause of women’s empowerment.
The award was conferred to eleven women of the state for their contributions towards the society and women empowerment in their respective fields.
The award function was held at hotel Radisson Blu, Guwahati and was attended by Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi and veteran Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore who gave away the awards.
Apart from Pride East Entertainments Private Limited’s Chief Managing Director Riniki Bhuyan Sharma the other noted women who were conferred with the awards are Hema Prabha Chutia, Hasina Kharbhih, Rupali Kalita, Meghali Das, Kasturi Bhattacharya, Rashmi Narzari, Ankushita Boro, Swarnali Chudhury, Rupa Baruah and Swati Bidhan Baruah.
